The China Refrigeration Society is scheduled to hold the 2005 Annual Conference on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning in Kunming. The 18th Group Membership Meeting of the China Refrigeration Society and the 7th Low Temperature and Refrigeration Engineering Conference will also be held in Kunming.




Wu Yuyuan from the Department of Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering of the School of Energy and Power Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University gave a report titled "Application of Secondary Generator in Small Pumpless Lithium Bromide Absorption Refrigeration System".




The traditional lithium bromide absorption chiller heat source often uses gas or fuel oil. Therefore, the heat source temperature required for system operation is high, and it is not suitable for low-grade solar energy as a heat source. The requirements for solar collectors are relatively high. Therefore, how to reduce the heat source temperature as much as possible is the key to whether green solar energy can be used as the heat source of the absorption refrigerator.




The Guangzhou Energy Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has successfully developed lower temperature units (80~85 °C), but the structure of these models is complex, and the cooling capacity is generally above 100 kW, which is not suitable for the development of miniaturized units.
