Introduction to Harbin Welding Research Institute

The Harbin Welding Research Institute was established in 1956 and was originally part of the Ministry of Machinery Industry. In July 1999, it was transformed into a state-level large-scale technology enterprise along with the Institute of Mechanical Science. It is now part of the Central Enterprise Work Committee.
The company has more than 500 employees, including one academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, more than 130 researchers and senior engineers, and 70% of the staff of undergraduate and bachelor degree.
