ISCAR introduces you to the new series: the TANG-GRIP self-clamping cutting blade is clamped to the TRAUB (TNL and TNK models) and INDEX (MS18C models) turning centers.
The structure is derived from the strong structure of the blade, which can be applied to the large overhanging process, and only the part of the depth of cut is required to be thinned. The relatively thick clamping part ensures the rigidity and rigidity of the blade.
The design of the blade provides an excellent solution for cutting and grooving, whether it is a spindle or a countershaft mounted on the milling center.

The single-head blade is highly rigid and therefore has a more outstanding advantage than other clamping systems.
The Isa GRIP series of DO-GRIP double-headed inserts are made of the alloy grade SUMO TEC: IC807, IC808, IC830.
SUMO TEC alloy grades significantly increase blade life thanks to leading-edge coating technology and post-coating technology. Low stress on the coated surface and a smoother surface are beneficial for increasing tool life. The smooth surface makes the chip removal smooth, the cutting heat is lower, and the friction is lower. The new coating process improves blade toughness, chipping resistance, friction reduction and built-up edge. The improvement of the cutting conditions applied to various materials to be processed improves the tool life in an orderly manner.
The new PVD coating technology is based on Iskar's AL-TEC coating technology for a unique surface finish.
