The 4th Member Congress of the 6th Council of China Energy Conservation Association was held at the Beijing International Convention Center on the afternoon of November 22, 2012. Leaders of the association, Fu Zhiwei, Yang Zhenhuai, Jia Zhijie, Wang Qinping, Li Juchang, Bai Rongchun, Fang Qing, Zhang Jianhong, Huang Ming, Li Chunsheng, and deputy director of the National Energy Conservation Center, Yang Bo, attended the meeting. In the past year, the association has successfully organized several energy-saving brands and advocated energy-saving new winds with great influence, namely “China Energy Conservation and Low Carbon Development Forumâ€, “Energy Saving China†promotion, “China Energy Strategy High-level Forumâ€, “ The China-US Clean Energy Forum, the establishment of the China Green Lighting Education Demonstration Base and the “Two Hours of Lights Out in Asia†have achieved great repercussions in the government, enterprises and society. In the past year, the Association has laid the foundation for enterprise development by publishing policies, standards, science and technology, etc., in-depth corporate investigation and exchange to help enterprises solve the most urgent problems, actively organize publicity and training activities to promote the development of energy-saving industries and enterprises, and promote public welfare activities. The energy-saving and low-carbon of the whole people fully reflects the determination to serve the society for the enterprise. The delegates held a lively discussion on the work report of the association, fully affirmed the achievements of the association in the past year, and made many suggestions for the future development of the association. The General Assembly voted to approve the work report of the Association and elected the members of the Board of Directors. The Solar Energy Professional Committee and the Energy Conservation Service Industry Committee each reported their work in 2012. Finally, the Chairman of the China Energy Conservation Association, Mr. Fu Zhiwei, made a concluding speech entitled "Improving Service Awareness and Promoting Harmonious Development and Making New Contributions to the Construction of Ecological Civilization". He said that the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party put the construction of ecological civilization in the outstanding position.
