Qingdao Haixiwan Shipbuilding and Repairing Base is located in Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is the largest ship under construction in Shandong Province and is suitable for coal, grain and ore transportation. Since 2007, Beichuan Heavy Industry has undertaken the construction contract of 17 180,000-ton bulk carriers in line with the principle of “construction by side, side-by-side, and production”.
