Fast as lightning! Scientists develop new DNA nanobots

Scientists around the world are studying new technologies for future nanofactories. They hope that these will one day be used to analyze biochemical samples or produce active pharmaceutical agents.

The only reason that these molecular machines have not been deployed on a large scale so far is that they are too slow. Even the current sports design may spend several hours on the combination of molecules, which makes the DNA machine less practical in the pursuit of "timeliness."

Recently, scientists at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) have developed a new type of electric propulsion technology. Scientists have developed a DNA nanomachine (more specifically, an arm) based on molecules, and when the technology is mature, it can be used to complete "immediate tasks."

The researchers found that they can use the DNA molecule's charge to quickly and accurately move the arm, so that it is controlled by the electric pulse to move in the right direction, the DNA nano robot can make the machine speed by 100,000 times faster than before, and even React within a few milliseconds.

When you see DNA robots perform a series of actions, you can imagine that this is behind the collaboration of the "millions of millions" of nanofactories.

In addition, in many ways, this new method makes DNA nanomachines practical. These include the use of complex molecules (such as medicine) to piece together, identify tiny substances, and so on, and have a wide range of application scenarios.
