After five years, the city's mould industry can drive related industrial output value of 200 billion yuan.

“Jinhua's mold industry has broad prospects for development.” Jiang Rongwei, chairman of ZCZ Mold City, told reporters that Jinhua’s manufacturing base is relatively good, and automobile and motorcycle fittings, small commodity manufacturing, hardware tools and other industries are cluster-type development, and now cars and accessories have been formed. The five leading industries including IT, tool measuring tools, biomedicine, electronic information, food and textile, and emerging advantageous industries such as IT have created a good foundation for the mold industry to enhance its development.

According to the annual report of the China Die and Mould Industry Association, the demand for precision, large-scale, complex, and long-life molds has increased in China's mold market in recent years. It is expected that by 2010, the domestic mold market demand will be around 120 billion yuan. The Jinhua-developed manufacturing industry is increasingly demanding for molds. Jinhua's mold industry has great potential for development. In recent years, the municipal government has attracted domestic and foreign mold companies to join in with preferential policies and quality services, and has been working hard to build a Zhezhong Mould City that has begun to take shape and has a complete industrial chain. In the "Some Opinions on Cultivating the Development of Zhezhong Mould City" issued on August 24 this year, the municipal government also issued a series of preferential policies to support the development of the mold industry. At present, the overall planned area of ​​the Zhezhong Mould City after the expansion of the site is about 500 mu. The first phase of the Zhezhong Mould City, which currently covers an area of ​​170 mu, has been completed and was officially put into use in September this year.

Jiang Rongwei said that when the Jinhua mold industry started, more than 60% of the molds of local companies went to the field for processing. Nowadays, the technology level of the enterprises in the Zhezhong Mould City continues to increase, and many Yiwu companies have come to the door. Most of the small commodity production molds can be produced in the Zhezhong Mould City. However, Jiang Rongwei has always been deeply regretted that, like automobile parts molds, precision stamping dies, large and precision plastic molds, electronic connector molds, mold standard parts, and other high-tech molds, are needed by many industrial enterprises in Jinhua, but Because of the limited level of technology, the mold enterprises in our city often cannot provide them. Many industrial enterprises can only go to foreign countries or even abroad to buy. Once the mold has gone out of the way, the repairs have been very complicated.

Jiang Rongwei said that in order to improve the scientific and technological innovation capabilities of mold companies, they are doing three things: First, they introduced eight of the most advanced mold manufacturing companies in the country, and tried to drive the companies in Zhezhong Mould City to go through R&D and processing through leading companies. The road to production integration; the second is to improve the ability of independent innovation.
