In April this year, the technology was applied to Wuhan Meitaikang Medical Materials Co., Ltd. in Xinzhou District, Wuhan City. A 4-ton micro-fuel boiler continues to provide steam for the production of medical gauze, which has the same energy efficiency as a natural gas boiler. After testing, there is no tar and black carbon powder in the combustion exhaust gas, and the dust separated from the flue gas purification is a white powder like lime. These white powders are non-combustible metal oxides that remain after combustion of hydrocarbons in biomass at temperatures above 1400 degrees. They can be returned to the field or used as raw materials for industrial materials after bag dust collection.

According to Prof. Xiao Bo, at present, some regional industrial boilers are prohibited from burning coal, and the cost of natural gas industrial boilers is high. If all biomass micro-fuel industrial boilers are used in China, annual fossil fuel consumption of about 600 million tons of standard coal can be reduced, annual use of agricultural and forestry wastes will be more than 1 billion tons, and all straw and agricultural and forestry wastes will be consumed, adding 300 billion yuan to farmers.
