In addition to promoting clean energy, the company has also focused on improving energy efficiency in thermal power plants. It has strengthened supervision over desulfurization facilities and encouraged thermal power enterprises to enhance their operations and maintenance. Through energy-saving equipment upgrades and technological innovations, the desulfurization facility commissioning rate across the grid reached 99.55%, with a desulfurization efficiency of 94.3%, up by 0.57 percentage points. As a result, sulfur dioxide emissions were reduced to 458,000 tons. The average coal consumption for power generation dropped to 309.6 grams per kWh, a decrease of 2.25 grams per kWh compared to the previous year, saving approximately 57,700 tons of standard coal. These efforts highlight Yunnan Power Grid's commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection while ensuring a stable and efficient power supply.
