The company recently announced that it has secured a major contract to supply 7MWp of solar modules to the Navalakha Group in Maharashtra, India. Deliveries have already begun, marking a significant milestone for the firm.
Dongying PV claims it outperformed over 20 other competitors to win this important deal. This success comes on the heels of recent technical achievements, as the company's monocrystalline and polycrystalline components successfully passed Intertek’s potential induced degradation (PID) test and received IEC62804 certification.
According to Ponsekar Periyanadar, Vice President of Sales at Dongying Photovoltaic South Asia, the competitive landscape is forcing suppliers to take different paths. “Some choose to cut prices and lose sight of customer needs, while others focus on understanding end-user requirements and offering tailored technical solutions,†he said.
“Choosing the second approach takes more time and effort, but it’s essential for building long-term partnerships. We are proud to have earned the trust of the respected Navalakha Group. With the first 7MWp delivery scheduled for December, we expect to deliver an additional 40-50MWp in 2013,†he added. This move not only highlights Dongying PV’s technical capabilities but also its growing presence in the Indian market.
